Welcome to classroom 2A! As we begin this special, sacramental year together, every student will learn that they are a valued and important member of our classroom family. In creating a safe and caring environment students will be able to do their very best work. St. Mary’s School has been providing excellence in education for 100 years and it is very exciting to be a part of this historical celebration. We will continue to strengthen and nourish our relationship with God as we prepare to receive the Sacraments of Reconciliation and First Holy Communion.

Second grade is a year filled with many new learning experiences. We strive to foster a love for reading as students build on their individual reading skills. On the road to mastering addition and subtraction facts, we will discover many new math strategies that are most helpful to us as individual learners.
