Ms. Meghan McMahon

Fourth grade is a transition from primary to intermediate. Focus in fourth grade is on reviewing skills and enriching knowledge in all subject areas.

The geographical regions of the United States are explored in social studies. In science, we investigate weather, the human body, oceans, the solar system, and electricity. Language arts encompasses study skills, comprehension, vocabulary, spelling, grammar, and creative writing. Mathematics builds on the basics. Whole number operations, fractions and decimals are studied throughout the year. In religion classes we focus on the Ten Commandments and the Beatitudes.
