In the fifth grade, students will develop into more responsible, independent young adults while learning through a variety of collaborative and interactive activities. The transitions and study skills learned here will prepare them well for sixth grade and junior high.

After starting off the year with E-camp, in science we will continue to study the environment around us with a focus on adaptation and ecology, rocks and minerals, and light and sound. In math, we will build on the foundations of fourth grade to look more in depth at fractions, geometry, probability, and real world applications. Religion class will focus on the sacraments. Fifth grade promises to be a great year for all and I cannot wait for school to start!
