The fifth grade is a wonderful time for students. They come from a self-contained environment to one that includes more transition. In fifth grade, the students become more independent as they learn note taking, organizing and study skills that will help prepare them for sixth grade.

Creative writing, literature circles, and learning about the birth of our country are just some of the highlights in fifth grade. Throughout the year, there will be special activities like E-Camp in September and several field trips. Fifth grade is a fun, learning experience!.
