Upon entering fifth grade, students attend Environmental Camp at the University of Rhode Island. Here, they engage in team building exercises and many hands-on experiences at this wilderness classroom.

Back in the classroom, these lessons become grounded as they continue to develop their individual and group learning skills. Students receive instruction in project planning and note taking strategies to ensure their success. Many mini-projects and engaging presentations replace conventional assignments. The students are provided with strong instructional support as they are guided and prepared for a future of learning and Christian living.
