Eucharistic ministers bring the Eucharist to parishioners gathered in worship at the Mass, in the hospital, and to the sick and housebound.

Church, nursing homes, private homes, hospital

Duties/Responsibilities:

Distribute the Eucharist at Masses and bring the Eucharist to those who request the sacrament.

Qualifications:

Practicing Catholic who exemplifies our faith in the community, VIRTUS training required, CORI screened.

Training:

Three 2 ½ hr sessions cover the celebration of the Eucharist, practical elements, and VIRTUS training - attendance at all three sessions is required.

Time of Ministry:

Sunday Masses as scheduled by the Coordinator, home visits (optional)

Length of Commitment:

As your faith allows.
