Living with Christ is an 8-week parish retreat program. The program was developed by the Office for Spiritual Development in the Archdiocese of Boston. It is a program of spiritual renewal, based on the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius of Loyola. The purpose of Living with Christ is to provide participants with another opportunity to meet Jesus Christ, to grow in admiration of him, to imitate his love and to renew our participation in his risen life.

The prayer is Scripture based, and each participant is to keep a journal about their prayer experience every day. They learn different ways of praying such as "Lectio Divina", Imaginative Prayer, and Review of Prayer Journal. Each participant is also encouraged to attend daily Mass if possible.

This program was offered in St. Mary's in the spring and fall of 2007. It is our intention to offer it again in the spring of 2008.
