Meeting Christ in Prayer (formerly called Living with Christ) is an 8-week parish retreat program. The program was developed by the Office for Spiritual Development in the Archdiocese by Mary Ann McLaughlin and Fr. John Sassani. It is a program of spiritual renewal, based on the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius of Loyola. The purpose of Meeting Christ in Prayer is to provide participants with an opportunity to meet Jesus Christ, to grow in admiration of him, to imitate his love and to renew our participation in his risen life.

By means of prayer, reflection, and faith sharing, Meeting Christ in Prayer introduces participants to various ways of praying, helps them form regular habits of prayer, and provides them with an opportunity to meet Christ anew and to experience support in the Christian life in a new way.

This program was offered in St. Mary's in the spring and fall of 2007 and in the fall of 2008. We will be offering this program again this winter.
