Respect Life Committee
Promotes and supports pro-life activities by keeping parishioners informed about legislative actions in which they can participate, providing Mass Citizens for Life resource publications to community schools and libraries, contributing to pro-life organizations through sale of carnations on Mother's Day, promoting participation in MCFL annual Boston Walk for Mothers and Children and in the annual respect life walk in Washington, D.C., holding baby shower (once per year) for needful mothers, providing respect life educational materials for St. Mary's School and religious education programs.

Objective:
To keep parishioners educated and inspired to participate in pro-life activities.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Educate, support, and encourage action on behalf of life from birth to natural death.
Qualifications:
- Interest in related issues including abortion, handicapped, euthanasia, and related legislation
- Open to learning about resources on issues (shelters, clinics, speakers, printed materials)
- Creative approach to the promotion, support, and action toward goals
Training:
Introduction to resources (eg MCFL office, books and other publications available), sharing information on past successful activities, meeting with current committee members
